We've got ourselves one happy baby!!

Pumpkin-less pumpkin patch

We took Luke to a pumpkin patch in Downs, only to find out that they hadn't planned on opening because they'd had no rain, so there were hardly any pumpkins!! We took pictures anyway, and Aunt Jaye helped him find a gourd that he really liked a lot, so we decided this would work for this year!!

Naperville Visit and the Cubs Hat

We visited baby Josiah, (and Mahesh and Amy!!) and decided that Josiah looks like the distance runner and Luke a linebacker!! Luke also liked to give Josiah 'kisses' which can get pretty rough, and I'm not sure Josiah liked Luke all that much!

Luke really liked Chad's Cubs hat...and had fun playing with it....and after Chad told him the cubs were no longer in the playoffs, felt quite distressed!!

5 months old!

We've been having lots of fun with the little guy! It was VERY hard for me to go back to work, I miss him more than I ever could have guessed. We have great daycare though, which makes it a little easier. Neither of us can wait to get home at night to play with him:) Here are a few newer pictures, can't believe he's 5 monthes already!!!

Luke likes to stand and play and is getting good at turning and looking at you when you say his name. He's also very good at reaching for EVERYTHING...and gets ahold of more than we expect!!
Smiles and giggles a lot...but we can hardly capture it, he's mesmorized by cameras and just wants to look at them or suck on them (as with most things!)
Luke is still mastering both eating and sleeping at daycare. Today he ate well, but didn't sleep, and could hardly keep his eyes open for some cereal before bed. Daddy woke him up with the camera though!

We decided to take our own 3 month pictures of Luke...and here is the outcome!! He loves to smile, but for some reason, when we get out the camera he just wants to look at it (without smiling of course!!)

Jaye's wedding

The wedding was great!! Jaye looked so beautiful and it was so much fun! My cousin, Kim, is a fantastic photographer too...if anyone needs a photographer, she will travel, has amazing talent and her prices are better than any I've seen!!
